Local Bar Employees Feel the Affect of the '21 Ordinance'

This video was created in regards to a local ordinance being passed in Iowa City resulting in persons under the age of 21 to be off of bar premises after 10 pm or face multiple fines and possibly arrest. Employees of one the more popular bars in the area, The Summit, discuss some of the fears that not only local business' have towards the ordinance, but how it is also now affecting the social lives of students and bar-workers in the Iowa City area.

"The College Cook"

If you took the time to read my biography page, you'll know that I'm a very proud, self-described 'Iron Chef'. Well, here's my attempt at that claim for my Narrative Journalism final project. Enjoy! Oh, and I do know I may have used a little too much parmesean cheese, but I filmed the entire project in one take and didn't have the time nor the patience to make another meal. Oh well, it was still delicious and let's be honest, who doesn't love a lot of cheese?
